First International Symposium on Atomic Technology(ISAT-2007)

日本語は こちら

Background and Objectives:
The First International Symposium on Atomic Technology (ISAT-2007)will be held in Tsukuba on 16-17, March 2007.

Atomic-Technology is the name of a project which has started in 2006 and is funded by the Ministry of
Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan.

In this project, research centers in three universities in Japan, i.e., TIMS in University of Tsukuba, CAMT in Osaka University, and PTRC in Tokyo University of Science, are involved and cooperate closely in research on
materials science to create the innovative atomic-technology: creation of novel functional material and devices based on the manipulation of key-atoms.

ISAT-2007 will be held as part of this project, and will provide a forum to discuss the latest research progress in the related fields, the functional molecule, the biomaterial, and quantum function of nano-structures.

Organizer:
Tsukuba Research Center for Interdisciplinary Materials Science(TIMS), University of Tsukuba
Center for Atomic and Molecular Technologies (CAMT), Osaka University
